Welcome to 6in24-vita, your comprehensive guide to transforming your daily routine into a engine for lifelong vitality.
The core philosophy of 6in24-vita centers on integrating the 6 evidence-based pillars of lifestyle medicine into your 24-hour daily rhythm to target the root causes of disease, extend your healthy life years, and optimize overall well-being.
What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Lifestyle Medicine is a recognized medical specialty that utilizes evidence-based, whole-person lifestyle interventions as the primary approach to prevent, treat, and frequently reverse chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity.
Rather than simply managing symptoms with lifelong medications, lifestyle medicine addresses the underlying behavioral causes of illness, impacting up to 80% of chronic disease burdens worldwide.
While average life expectancy reaches around 80 years, many adults live with over a decade of impaired health and chronic disability.
6in24-vita focuses on bridging that gap—extending your healthy years (healthspan) so you can maintain independence, energy, and joy throughout every stage of life.
The 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine
To achieve optimal health and longevity, 6in24-vita structures your daily habits across six interconnected, evidence-based pillars:

- Optimal Nutrition: Following a whole-food, plant-predominant eating pattern rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds while minimizing ultra-processed foods. Poor diet quality is the single leading contributor to premature mortality, making daily plant-rich nourishment a foundational habit.
- Physical Activity: Incorporating consistent daily movement and aiming for at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week to combat sedentary habits, maintain cardiovascular strength, and preserve mobility.
- Restorative Sleep: Prioritizing 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep every night. Restorative sleep is critical for brain health, memory consolidation, cellular repair, and optimal immune protection.
- Stress Management: Utilizing proven techniques such as mindfulness, positive psychology, and daily "downshifting" to manage chronic stress. Reducing chronic stress alleviates systemic inflammation, anxiety, and immune dysfunction.
- Positive Social Connections: Cultivating strong, meaningful relationships with family, friends, and community, alongside maintaining a sense of purpose. Positive social connectedness supports mental and emotional health, reduces depression risks, and actively promotes physical longevity.
- Risky Substance Avoidance: Eliminating tobacco use, reducing or eliminating alcohol consumption, and avoiding addictive substances. Avoiding these harmful exposures rapidly decreases cardiovascular and cancer risks while restoring systemic resilience.
How the 6 Pillars Interlink for Total Health
The power of 6in24-vita lies in the synergy between these six pillars:
Sleep & Nutrition: Inadequate sleep (less than 5 to 7 hours) disrupts hormone regulation, driving cravings for ultra-processed foods and increasing insulin resistance and cardiovascular strain.
Conversely, a wholesome, nutrient-dense diet stabilizes sleep quality.
Movement & Stress: Regular physical activity (such as 30–45 minutes of brisk walking) stimulates endorphins, enhances T-cell and natural killer cell immune function, and directly lowers stress hormones.
Lower stress, in turn, makes it easier to fall into restorative sleep.
Social Connection & Behaviors: Strong relationships and community support reinforce healthy daily choices—making it easier to eat well, stay active, manage stress, and avoid risky substances like tobacco or excessive alcohol.
When you align all six pillars within a single 24-hour cycle, the protective benefits compound exponentially—significantly lowering risk factors for major chronic illnesses.
Preventing Illness and Elevating Your Health
Adopting these six pillars as daily habits yields remarkable health improvements:
Preventing & Reversing Heart Disease: Landmark global studies (such as INTERHEART) demonstrate that practicing non-smoking, regular physical activity, and daily fruit and vegetable intake dramatically reduces the risk of heart attacks across all demographics.
Strengthening Immunity: Adequate restorative sleep and moderate daily movement significantly boost immune cell defenses, reducing susceptibility to infectious illnesses.
Reversing Metabolic & Chronic Conditions: High blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, and type 2 diabetes can be managed, improved, and frequently reversed through intensive whole-food nutrition and prescriptive lifestyle changes.
About the Founder
With more than 30 years of experience working in corporate environments across multinational companies in Europe and Asia, I have seen firsthand how demanding professional life can affect health, energy, mobility, and long-term wellbeing. My background in business and technology has taught me the value of structured thinking, practical solutions, and making sustainable changes step by step.
My interest in lifestyle medicine and wellness comes from personal experience. I have seen many people become increasingly dependent on corporate medical coverage and medication to manage health conditions, rather than being supported to address the lifestyle factors that may contribute to them. Over time, I have also seen people lose everyday physical capabilities that are essential for independence: becoming breathless after walking a short distance, needing their hands to rise from a chair, or being unable to get up from the floor without assistance.
This became especially meaningful through my mother’s journey. By making gradual lifestyle changes, she was able to improve her health significantly, including moving from taking diabetes medication to no longer needing it under medical guidance. Today, at 87 years old, she remains active and can still spend one to two hours working in her garden each day. Her experience reinforced my belief that it is never too late to support better health, strength, mobility, and quality of life through everyday habits.
I recently completed Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan, Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching, and Nutrition and Wellness Coaching through Harvard Medical School. Through 6in24-vita, I want to share practical, evidence-informed knowledge that helps people make realistic improvements in nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, social connection, and healthier daily choices—so they can remain capable, independent, and active as they grow older.
